Neil spent the whole of his working life in educational settings, working in three countries delivering both informal and formal education to hundreds of children. Brought up in a small village in the Swansea Valley, Neil completed his education at Borough Road College in West London; his employment history incorporated unbroken spells with the Y.M.C.A, Ministry of Defence, West Sussex L.E.A, finally returning to Wales as a Head Teacher in the City and County of Swansea.
His love of skiing, and Austria, developed as a result of a school ski trip, using leather boots, and a block of wax to try and “go faster!”; he had to wait 20 years to do that again, but then it was all downhill from there! As a Party Leader for over 20 years, Neil has drawn on his experiences -good and bad- utilising both to create bespoke ski trips, primarily for school and youth groups, but also for families.
Snowstyle came about as a joint venture between a father and son; tragically Neil’s son, Rhodri passed away in 2024, but his memory continues, as, with Rhys and Tim, Neil is committed to continue the dream.
